| Q. How long should “INITIALIZING…” be displayed after booting? |
| A. For 4channels DVR, the message should disappear after about 30 seconds. For 9/16channels DVR, the message should disappear after about 1 monute. (But it varies by HDD size and numbers.) |

Q. I forgot the password. |
|
A. There is a possibility that lighting change, noises in night time, and camera's own noise can be recognized as a motion. And, set as high motion detection sensitivity, DVR recognizes even minor changes in video input as motion. |

Q. ‘TIME MISMATCH' error message when installed a used HDD from the other DVR. |
|
A. It happens when DVR time is set ahead of the time of final recording data on the HDD. If you go to “TEST” mode and set the time of DVR after the time of final recording data on the HDD, the DVR will not show ‘TIME MISMATCH' error message |

A. Yes, it is possible. please contact your distributor or Technical Support for assistance. |

A. DVR does not video out VGA and COMPOSITE in a time. You have to set the proper jumper on the rear of the DVR to select VGA video out or Composite video out. Please refer to the manual. |

| A. No, it doesn't support internet time synch. |

A. There is no watermarking function. However, if you select ‘DVR’ file format for backup, the DVR will generate ‘DVR file’, ‘SMI file’, and an exclusive ‘PLAYER’ into an USB thumb drive or CD/DVD media as bellow pictures.

A. If you have a problem when you install the network client software, the bellows are the installation error messages and its solution
A. 0x80040255 : It means that the decoder is not installed in the PC. Please install ‘ffdshow'.
B. 0x8876086a : It means that the VGA card in the PC does not support over DirectX 9.0 version. Please select ‘Light' when you install the client S/W
C. 0x8876017c : it means “Out of video memory”. Please increase the memory of the PC.

| A. Yes, if both DVR and PC are properly equipped with a micro phone and a speaker, Bi-directional audio is available.

A. Please follow the bellow steps;
1.Install network client software on CD.
2.Check the IP address from SETUP>SYSTEM>DESCRIPTION of DVR.
Run network client software

5.Input IP address, Port No., and Password. And click OK

Q. How to access DVR from Remote PC with DDNS service when DVR is linked on Dynamic IP? |
| A. Please refer to the APPENDIX of user guide that is provided with the DVR system. It describes al the steps in details. |

Q.How to open TCP port on Router? |
|
A. Please follow the bellow steps;
1.Connect network cable between DVR and Switch / Hub or Router.
2.Network setting on DVR are Port: 5445, IP ADDRESS: 172.16.1.52, Subnet: 255.255.0.0, Gateway: 0.0.0.0 as default.
3.From PC connected in the same Router, find IP address, Gateway, and Subnet by IPCONFIG command in command prompt.
4.But if IP is something else like 192.168.1.xxx., you should change IP address, Subnet, Gateway on DVR. Go to SETUP>NETWORK of DVR and change the IP settings to be like IP: 192.168.000.XXX and Gateway: 192.168.1.1. (Refer to the user’s manual of Router.)
5.Then, go to Router Setup and you should open TCP port 5445 using Port Forwarding.
